I'm in the observation deck at Haneda Airport, waiting for my flight from Tokyo to Yonago. Rob Atendido, a friend from Minnesota who's been teaching English in Japan for three years, will be my host. The blue cow was too good to pass up: all the little kids loved it. The little blue ropes didn't doo much to keep them from touching it, especially the nose. These kids were quite typical. I hope my camera just caught their mother at the wrong time, rather than her really giving me the evil eye.
