Here's Rob Atendido, standing next to the car he's borrowing from his employer for the next few days. Japan is a left-side-drive country, like the UK or Australia. (Note where the steering wheel is located.) He has a novice sticker on both the front hood (yellow and green) as well as the back. There's also a sign for elderly drivers. Rob says that he's seen cars with both and stayed far away from them. The yellow license plate means "small engine". I don't know what the engine's displacement is, but if you're driving up a hill, the yellow plate is a sure sign that you won't be climbing very quickly. (2/28) |
