Inoue-san drove us back to Tokyo. We arrived a little bit early for dinner. (As if we needed any more food on Saturday!!) So we took a detour to Akihibara, Tokyo's "electronics city" district. Just about any electronic gadget that you can hope to find (including a huge number that you've never seen before and may never see in the USA) can be found here. The prices here are considered fairly high, now that Akihibara has become so popular, even a tourist destination. So the recommendation is that you do your purchasing elsewhere. {shrug} I have a very limited amount of luggage space, so it's pretty easy to avoid buying stuff to bring back. However, I couldn't pass up a photo of these USB drives: they were an expensive 8,220 yen for only 128MB of storage space, but they are soooooo cute!
