We're here just a bit too early to catch the plum or cherry blossoms. This tree is a bit earlier than the others in this orchard. As the cherry blossoms bloom, Japanese news reports show maps of peak color sweeping northward across the islands ... much like the autumn leaf color reports here in Minnesota show the peak color wave flowing south.
